How does the self-identification process work?

You can now choose to use self-identification as part of identification process when you register for a Raisin Account.

Self-identification takes just a few minutes. Make sure you have your passport and your mobile phone.

Here’s how it works:

1. Download the Raisin Bank app.
2. Take a photo of your ID and take a selfie (video).
3. Digitally sign your identification using a code sent via SMS.
4. Perform a control transaction of €0.10 from your main bank account, which will be refunded within a few days.
