We use mobile mobile verification codes know as TANs (mTAN) to authorise financial transactions. When you initiate a transaction, an individual mTAN is generated and sent to your mobile phone by SMS.
An mTAN provides additional security because it acts as a form of two-factor authentication in combination with the password you use to log in to the Raisin Bank Online Banking System. If your login data is stolen, no transactions can be performed without access to your mobile phone.
You can also choose to request a phone call to verify transactions. In this scenario, we will call you on the number we have on file for you.
