To add funds to your Raisin Account, you’ll first need to set up a Nominated account. These are the only bank accounts you can use to send money to and withdraw money from your Raisin Account.
Step 1: Choose your Nominated account(s).
A Nominated account must:
- Be a current account held with a European bank, and
- Be in your own name (you must be the named account holder).
- You can add up to 5 Nominated accounts.
All transfers between your Nominated accounts and your Raisin Account are processed as SEPA transfers. You can find out more about the Nominated account here.
Step 2: Find your Raisin Bank details
Once your registration is complete, you’ll receive your Raisin Bank IBAN.
You can find it at any time in your Raisin Account. Simply log in, click the your initials in the top-right corner, you will see your Raisin Bank here. If you're using the Raisin app, click on the settings cog in the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Make a bank transfer
Next, you'll need to complete a transfer from your bank to your Raisin Bank account. Deposits to your Raisin Account can be processed around the clock either by SEPA instant or a regular SEPA transfer. If the transfer is sent as a SEPA instant payment, the amount is credited in real time. For regular SEPA transfers, it can take up to one banking business day.
